Touchjet And MightyMeeting Partner To Bring Collaborative Technology To Any Surface

Software Pre-installed on all Touchjet Devices for Instant Collaboration in Meetings and Classrooms

[Recently], Touchjet, a company that creates interactive touch technology, announced that it will partner with MightyMeeting, a company that designs apps to bring collaboration to any presentation in the classroom or boardroom.

Touchjet’s products turn any flat surface into an 80″ interactive touchscreen where users can display and interact with any of the hundreds of thousands of Android apps. The Android operating system is built-in, so any apps can be downloaded directly to the device itself.

The company’s first product, the Touchjet Pond™ Projector, launched in May after being one of the most successful Indiegogo campaigns in history. It’s ultra-portable, weighing in at less than a pound, and fits in the palm of a hand. The company’s second product, the Touchjet WAVE™, launched on Indiegogo on Monday, August 11, and turns any flat screen TV or monitor into a smart touchscreen.

MightyMeeting brings collaboration to presentations by making it easy to present from smartphones or tablets in real time with anyone inside or outside the room — in a business meeting or during a school lesson.

“Touchjet’s unique products turn your mobile device experience into a group activity – blowing the screen up so everyone can join in,” said Dmitri Tcherevik, the founder and CEO of MightyMeeting Inc. “That works exceptionally well with our app because presenters can take a giant touchscreen anywhere and then use MightyMeeting to share and collaborate with anyone in the room.”

With a combination of Touchjet and MightyMeeting, any presenter can turn one-way presentations into engaging and interactive experiences. Participants can view the presentation on the big screen and on their mobile devices where they can actively contribute and annotate content.

Teachers can also use Touchjet and MightyMeeting together to replace expensive outdated equipment such as interactive whiteboards and document cameras. They can move freely about the classroom, interact with the students and project multimedia content on the big screen by connecting their mobile devices to Touchjet products via MightyMeeting.

“MightyMeeting is the best app for productivity with students or colleagues,” said Helen Thomas, CEO of Touchjet. “It gives presenters the ability to share their content in an interactive setting where participants can engage with the material and each other — that is exactly the type of experience we want to create with our products.”
