Alien Asteroid Attack Is A Mobile Role-Playing/Flight Simulator And Strategy Game- The User’s Goal Is Either To Destroy Or Defend The Universe…Kickstarter Funding

Clarence Sheridan is producing a mobile game with Kickstarter funding, where the users can either attack the universe with asteroids or defend it with missiles. Fact: The Earth has experienced 26 atom bomb-sized explosions from asteroids — could this be an attack?

Since 2001, the Earth has experienced 26 atom bomb-sized explosions. They were detected by a network designed to discover if countries are testing nuclear weapons. It turns out no one has tested an atom bomb in 13 years. Those explosions were from asteroids crashing into Earth. What if this is an actual attack on our solar system. That is the premise of this game – Alien Asteroid Attack is Kickstarter project kck.st/1wFFMwS and will only be funded if enough funds are pledged by Sat, Jan 31 2015 11:18 AM EST.

Playing the free version of “Alien Asteroid Attack” users are an Alien gunner – attacking the solar system with asteroids. In the paid multiplayer mode of the game, users are defending the universe with missiles either from earth, other planets or from orbiting space platforms.prrwadvert Receiving necessary monetary resources from the crowd-funding service Kickstarter, Alien Asteroid Attack will publish to many platforms including – IOS and Android.

Game logic uses actual astronomical information. As an example, after the user’s asteroid passes Voyager, tactical information presents itself on the screen including:

Asteroid Mass (10 km will destroy all life on Earth)

Asteroids speed (measured in astronomical units – An astronomical unit is a unit of length, defined as about 93 million miles, or roughly the mean Earth–Sun distance.)

Distance from Earth (measured in astronomical units – An astronomical unit is a unit of length, defined as about 93 million miles, or roughly the mean Earth–Sun distance.)

Distance from Celestial Body (measured in astronomical units – An astronomical unit is a unit of length, defined as about 93 million miles, or roughly the mean Earth–Sun distance.)

Distance To Missile – when appropriate (measured in astronomical units – An astronomical unit is a unit of length, defined as about 93 million miles, or roughly the mean Earth–Sun distance.)

Missile Launch From Earth (shown in flashing red) when appropriate in Upper Center screen

The planetary alignment will be set by the time at which the asteroid passes Voyager, creating a game that is never the same.
