Bizarre Foods’ Star to Head Philanthropic Chef Program

Foodie Tout, Inc. announced today that Andrew Zimmern has been appointed to the Company’s Board of Directors for a two-year term.

A three-time James Beard Award-winning TV personality, chef, award-winning writer and teacher, Andrew Zimmern ( is regarded as one of the most versatile and knowledgeable personalities in the culinary world. “Andrew has a long history of giving back to the community and is passionate about being involved,” stated Ms. Foley. “As the Director of the Philanthropic Chef program, he will be encouraging other Chefs and restrauteurs to support their local non-profit food related programs utilizing crowd funding on, one of Foodie Tout’s platforms.” Currently Mr. Zimmern is supporting Homeward Bound’s Fresh Start Culinary program on which assists folks getting back into the work force with a 16 culinary training program that also assists in job placement. As Mr. Zimmern passionately states, “Help us put the unemployed through cooking school, put jobs back into our community, and help make a difference in a person’s life. The most important thing we can do on this planet is to help our fellow humans out.”
